Extruded
Extruded acrylic sheets are one
of the most durable type of acrylic sheets that has a lower melting point as
compared to cast acrylic. Extruded

Cast
Cast acrylic is widely used with laser engraving. It usually
appears as a frosty white shade that becomes prominent over the cast acrylic sheet. However, when laser
engraving is performed over extruded acrylic it offers much clarity and doesn’t
become contrast.

Clearing the Edges
If you found an edge of the acrylic sheet to be uneven. It
can be made smoother by the help of flame polishing. You can do this by slowly
hovering over the brush of a propane flame across uneven edges it will start
melting slightly. Leave it for some time to get back to its shape again.
Bending
Acrylic sheets are very easy to
bend and flex. There are many applications where bended acrylic sheets are
used. This can be performed using strip heaters. Strip heaters allows you to
slowly insert one part of the acrylic sheet to bend up to your requirement.
